Video Upgrade: A.I. Deterrence

AI deterrence is available for homes or businesses and gives the impression of live monitoring. The lifelike voice calls out clothing and describes the scene while recording audio and video.

The service uses patented video analytics to identify humans in defined zones and follows schedules and rules you specify to trigger audio responses.

It’s fast and easy to set up the AI Deterrence video upgrade. After you add the service to your DFW Security account, simply use the mobile app or a computer to schedule a time frame for it to be active. Create areas of interest using virtual tripwires and ground zones. You can easily enable and pause the audio responses anytime, such as during a special event.

Next, customize the message and delivery. Choose from several pre-programmed responses or create a custom message of your own using text-to-speech.

There are a variety of voices and tone options to choose from like male, female, angry, friendly, or neutral to fit your unique needs. 

Here are some use-case examples: 

“You by the dumpster in the blue hat. You are trespassing and the authorities have been alerted. Leave now.”

“The building is closed right now. Please come back during business hours.”

“This property is being professionally monitored. You in the gray hoodie, back away from the window.”

“We aren’t accepting visitors today. Would you like me to take a message?”

“You in the red jacket. You are being recorded. Leave right now or I will call the police”

Most of our customers’ existing cameras (with up-to-date firmware) work with AI deterrence, or we can install new surveillance cameras in your home or business. 

You can add the service to one camera or all, but we recommend using it sparingly in areas that aren’t high traffic to ensure it operates properly.
